Bleach:Re Chapter66. BRUTALITY

The man on the top of the wall, threw away the head to our feet just like that; with some disinterest in his sloppy movement. The creak of the « leftover » made my insides twist, almost cramp. The head fell to the ground with a sound of a wet sponge still cracking as it hit the floor in a pool of blood; the thick metallic smell disgusted me. I wanted to throw up.

- Who the hell… Are you?!
- Don't you listen? I'm known as Utsueiri Shikei. Captain of the 9^th Division.

My eyes had opened wide, my brows pressed tightly together. Corners of my mouth tensed as I was grinding my teeth; his words where piercing. I didn't even noticed myself that my hands were in an uptight stance. As my whole body actually.

- Shikei… 9^th Division…
- …

- !!!
- UUHH!!

- YOU'RE THE ONE! YOU BROUGHT NOLA HERE YOU BASTARD!!!
- What if I did?
- ?!

- Must I repeat myself? What if I did?

I pulled myself up painfully from the fall. This guy's strength was inhuman.

- If you are, you're the one I was searching for. 
- … Why's that?
- So I can slaughter you!

He took a few steps forward to be at the very edge of the wall to see me. He didn't say a word for a few seconds. All he did was; watch me carefully. Actually, he was looking me from head to toe. Narrowing his eyebrows at moments.

- My bad, I mistook you from someone else.

- You're not a soldier of the Gotei 13, are you? 
- I'm Kurasa Shinku, Shinigami & Human.

Meanwhile, Shikei closed his eyes for a few seconds and sighed.

- I'll end this quickly then. I have all of your friends to find and to kill.
- Damn yo-

I couldn't even end my sentence. Using Shunpo, the Captain appeared behind me to violently kick me in the back, sending me crashing into the wall nearby. The wall gave in under me as I landed against it, the grey concrete cracking violently under the force of the kick. A huge wall of dust formed around me and at the place, such was his strength.

- Sorry, I don't have time to play around with some Human.
- Is that so?!

Running out of the smoke, I jumped on the Captain, my Zanpakuto in my hands, ready to deliver one more blow. As expected, he quickly unsheathed his weapon too, to deflect my blade. I didn't stop that though. Jumping back, I immediately rushed at him to attack again, again and again…

I wasn’t even thinking clearly anymore, the rage was growing inside me.

- Huf… Huf…

I was attacking him from all sides but all he was doing was defending himself. He never counter-attacked. That being said, my attacks weren't efficient either as he blocked all of them with a relative ease.

- Why… Why?!
- Stop that Kiddo. You'll end up being killed. Just stop your team's assault and no one will be killed. 
- What… About Nola…?!

Shiro ran in my direction to stop me, feeling how desperate the situation was.

- Stop that, Kurasa!
- Oh that girl?

Slightly bowing his head, Shikei narrowed his eyes.

- She simply will be killed.
- !!!!

Reiatsu started to pour out of my body with such violence that the ground broke under and around me. The Reiatsu dancing around me was too much for the ground. The tiles in a few meters radius were all destroyed into dust under the pressure.

- I'LL DESTROY YOU!!

Rage was blinding me. I knew how strong he was. I knew I stood no chance but still. I rushed at him with all my might, concentering Reiatsu to the tip of my blade. And with a quick motion, I pierced the air with my Zanpakutô. The reishi was concentrated forming an energy peak. If only it had touched him. If only.

- Too slow.

With a step to the side, he dodged my assault. Not only he did that but he also grabbed my wrist crushing me against the ground with such power that a shockwave was produced. I spilled out blood at the very moment when my back touched the floor. Then, he let go of my hand, pointing his blade at my throat.

- You are still too young. Even the Arrancar I killed was stronger. 

His blade was coming closer as he was speaking.

- What a shame, I'm sure you would have been a great warrior. Farewell, Human.
- !!

At the moment he was about to pierce my throat, I quickly swung Ôin horizontally to launch a burst of Reiatsu. With the dust formed, I rolled around to escape him. Less than a second after, a short metallic noise was piercing through the air. 

- Eh… What a freaking monster…

The noise was made by the tip of his sword kissing the tile flooring. He was unfazed by my attack earlier and simply continued to do what he was doing. If it wasn't for the one second distraction that my attack made, I would have been dead.

- I'm surprised. You managed to dodge my blade, well done, Human.
- Eh! Shut the fuck up…

No matter what I did, he was acting like nothing would touch him. It didn't have any effect on him. And no matter how much I would search, no effective plan would come up in my head.

- (A frontal attack? He would block it or catch me… Out speed him? No way, I didn't even see him coming at first... My surprise attacks won't affect him either… And he won't let me charge my attack... What should I do, what should I do?!)
- That's too late, kiddo. 
- ?!

A sudden pressure was felt around us. Bigger than Shikei's one until now. And way larger. The radius was at least 3 or 4 times bigger than it was during our fight. 

- UGH!!

Out of nowhere, they appeared. Vice-Captains appeared at a speed of light. I couldn't react. They were coming out of nowhere, ready to pierce me from every direction. They were closer, way too close. 

10 meters. 5 meters. 2 meters. It was too fast. I closed my eyes, ready to accept my fate.

- …

But nothing happened.

- Uh?!
- WHY ARE YOU SPACING FOR, KURASA?!

This voice. It was Lia! Not only her but Nimaijita too. Perro, Suripu, Sophia. Everyone was here, defending me from the enemies’ assault.

- You guys…

All the vice-captains jumped back to be a few meters away from us. We were back-to-back with each other with no blind spots. Surrounded by the enemies but still together in this war, we wouldn't fall. 

- Alright everyone…

No matter what, we had a mission.

- Let's fight together!
